Women’s Soccer Seeks To Win Tie

Tying their previous match on Sept. 16, the Bulldogs looked to answer back in their succeeding game against Bard College on Monday, Sept. 18. Although the Bulldogs fought hard, it wasn’t enough to stop the Bard attack. Within the first 15 minutes of play, Bard struck first and scored another goal at the 27-minute mark to go up 2-0 before halftime. Bard went on to add two more goals before the end of the game, concluding in a 4-0 victory.
Women’s Volleyball Heading On The Right Track

As the women’s volleyball team prepared to face up against CUNYAC opponent Lehman College on Tuesday, Sept. 19, the Bulldogs knew that this was going to be a good test to see how they’ve improved in conference play, which would determine their seeding for playoffs. The Bulldogs won in a 3-0 victory, shutting out Lehman College.
In the first set, Brooklyn went on a 10-0 run to take a 15-6 lead and were able to close it out to go up 1-0. In the second set, after falling 1-0, the Bulldogs went on a 6-0 run and dominated the rest of the set, going up 2-0. The third set was all Brooklyn as they won 25-3, closing out Lehman College in a victory.
After achieving their victory on Sept. 19, the Bulldogs were looking to add another victory against Farmingdale State College under their belt. In a hard-fought first set, the Bulldogs were unable to stop the attack of the Rams as they closed out the set 25-20. In the second set, Brooklyn had another lead, this time 20-15, but the Bulldogs could not close out the victory as Farmingdale would answer with 10 of their own. In the third set, the Bulldogs were the team to answer back, but it wasn’t enough to seal the victory as they lost the match 3-0.
Men’s Soccer Trying To Find Their Footing

With the season in full swing, the men’s soccer team was looking to secure their first win of the season as they took on St. Joseph’s University Brooklyn on Thursday, Sept. 21. Early on in the game, St. Joseph’s struck first, hitting the back of the net at the 14-minute mark. The Bulldogs outshot St. Joseph’s 4-3 in the game, but were still unable to score one of those to tie up the game.
